Dr.Stachowich was born and raised in Thunder Bay, ON where he graduated from Hammarskjold High School, and received his Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from Lakehead University. Justin went on to further his education and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Parker University in Dallas, Texas graduating in 2014!
DOCTOR OF CHIROPRACTIC
Dr. Henley received a scholarship to play NCAA hockey at Concordia College in Minnesota, which is where he completed a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Exercise Science and a Minor in Biology. Following these 4 years, he attended Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, where he completed 4 years of chiropractic schooling. Rylan’s current interests include coaching hockey, golf, fishing and keeping up to date with the most current chiropractic research.
Dr. Morgan received his Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay in 2017. He then attended Chiropractic college at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota, where he graduated in 2020 with Cum Laude distinction. In his care, Dr. Morgan likes to encourage activity from patients and is interested in the role muscles and tendons can play in patients’ conditions. Dylan is very passionate when it comes to staying fit to maintain a healthy lifestyle. He can usually be found running, working out, playing hockey, spending time outdoors and fishing in the summers with friends and family.

Tesni has always been passionate about getting people moving and feeling their best. Her main goal as a healthcare professional is to support individuals with both acute and chronic injuries and focus on future injury prevention. Using evidence-based care, she strives to create a safe and comfortable road to recovery for patients and their musculoskeletal injuries. Her approach to care involves techniques such as soft tissue therapy, neurofunctional acupuncture, mobilization/manipulations and exercise therapy. Tesni received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and both her Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and Bachelor of Psychology from Lakehead University.

Joyce graduated from practical nursing in 2004 from Durham college, where she then went into community nursing and gained many valuable skills as a nurse. From there Joyce worked in long term care gaining an appreciation for caring for the aged with a focus on dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Holly graduated from Lakehead University with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology Degree. Since then, she has been practicing as a Registered Kinesiologist and has obtained certifications to become both a Certified Ergonomic Specialist and a WorkWell Functional Capacity Evaluator. Holly spends her spare time with her family enjoying the great outdoors.
Maggie is a Registered Kinesiologist and Lakehead Alumni that is passionate about fitness. In her spare time, she loves getting outside to explore the beautiful surroundings of Thunder Bay and spending quality time with her family.
Rob recently relocated to Thunder Bay from Oshawa, Ontario. For the last 6 years, Rob has been a Registered Massage Therapist who enjoys incorporating Trigger Point Therapy into his treatments. Rob looks forward to providing pain and stress relief treatments for all clients.
MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELLORS
Jay was born and raised just outside of Toronto in a small town called Port Perry. He then moved to Thunder Bay as a National level wrestler and attended the Social Work Program at Lakehead University. In 2016 Jay moved to Thunder Bay where he became a manager in child welfare. Jay has 2 beautiful children who are also heavily involved in wrestling and soccer.
Noelta's cross-cultural experience has been useful to gain a keen sense of cultural sensitivity that comes with working with various populations in a variety of social contexts, including Marginalized and homelessness, psychosocial issues, addiction, and youth mental health and Intimate partner violence. Noelta obtained her Masters in Social Work in Mental Health at Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) in 2016. Noelta is a mom to a beautiful little girl and spends quality time with family engaging in activities such as rustic camping and fishing.
Simon graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2017 with a degree in Human Nutritional Sciences. He then completed his dietetic internship through the Manitoba Partnership Dietetic Education program in June 2018 to become a Registered Dietitian. Simons’ passion for nutrition started when he began to exercise at 18, which made him eventually realize how nutrition played a role in athletic performance and body composition changes. Simon enjoys breaking down nutrition myths and helping people perform their best at their sport.
Jean Pierre Nabarra de Benejacq, HBK, BAPsy, MA(ExP), MScPT, MClScPT WH. Born and raised in Thunder Bay, ON, Jean Pierre Nabarra has been an active athlete his entire life, including opportunities to represent his country in several international Rugby and Football tournaments. He attended Lakehead University to complete an Honors Bachelor of Kinesiology, as well as a BA in Psychology in order to better understand the mental aspects of sports and exercise. He continued his education at St. Scholastica in Duluth, achieving a Master of Physiology. While away at school, he started training football, soccer, and MMA athletes. Upon returning to Canada, he attended McMaster University for a Master of Science in Physiotherapy. While working as a physiotherapist he saw a gap in health care regarding Wound Care, which led him to pursue a Master of Clinical Science Physical Therapy Wound Healing from Western Ontario.
He was then given an opportunity to work with elite athletes in Saskatchewan, Canada. He was part of the 2018 TELUS Cup Championship with the Notre Dame Hounds, as well as Provincial Championships with Male and Female Rugby teams. He has completed several additional courses; some of which include cardiac rehab, pulmonary rehab, manual therapy, taping techniques, active release, concussion rehab, and Vertigo therapy.
In his free time, he enjoys exercising at local gyms and hiking with his Blue Merle Australian Shepherd (Einstein), as well as hanging out with family and friends.
Vince was born and raised in Thunder Bay, and grew up very passionate about sport and activity. Growing up Vince spent the majority of his time either on the soccer field or at camp fishing with my friends and family.
He began to develop a passion for health and wellness after spending many hours on the treatment table, receiving therapy of his own. It was then that he truly realized how much of a difference good rehabilitation can make in recovering from an injury or ailment. This led Vince to pursue his degree in Kinesiology at Lakehead University. From there, Vince wanted to take his career to the next level so decided to pursue a Masters in Physical Therapy at Queen's University.
Robyn graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2015, and has since worked in community pharmacy in both Saskatchewan and Ontario. In Saskatchewan, she enjoyed providing clinical care in various community pharmacies, as well as being a part of innovative health care teams that improve quality and access to chronic disease care in rural Saskatchewan. She enjoys traveling, sunshine and can always be found with a cup of coffee in hand.
Jessie is a recent graduate from the University of Toronto, where she was honoured to have been elected valedictorian for her graduating class. She has a particular interest in the topic of women’s health and is passionate about improving access to/quality of LGBTQIA+ healthcare. In her spare time, Jessie enjoys instructing dance classes at a local studio traveling.
Teresa, a graduate of the University of Manitoba, has spent her pharmacy career providing the residents of Thunder Bay with exceptional health care.
Teresa appreciates travelling and the opportunity to meet new people and engage with other cultures. She enjoys spending time with her husband, children, two Havanese dogs and can often be found tending her flower garden.
Jon is a local pharmacist and owner of our Mountdale pharmacy location. He graduated with a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Waterloo. Jon is a certified respiratory educator and has a strong passion for educating patients on respiratory health. Apart from pharmacy, Jon loves spending time with his wife and two daughters. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys his time spent hunting and fishing.
Don is a graduate of the University of Manitoba! He has been a pharmacist since 1991 in various pharmacies in Thunder Bay and was born and raised.
In his spare time, Don enjoys playing badminton with his wife and two children as well as mountain biking!

Shawndra has been a Pharmacist for over 14 years.
She enjoys providing clinical services while building and maintaining patient relationships to help improve their health outcomes.When not at work, she’s busy chasing after her two young boys and enjoys exploring the waters of Lake Superior.
Dawn Romeo was born and raised in Thunder Bay. She graduated in 1989 from Humber College as a pharmacy technician. Dawn has been happily married for 27 years and has 3 children and 2 dogs. In her spare time, she likes to walk her dogs and spend time with her family. Dawn has been a pharmacy technician for 32 years, and loves her job!
Calvin Pelletier is a lifelong resident of Thunder Bay. He attended Lakehead University where he studied Biochemistry and went on to complete a BScN. Calvin continued his studies with The University of Manitoba Critical Care Program. Calvin returned to Thunder Bay in 2008 and obtained his Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner at Lakehead University.
Calvin resides in Thunder Bay with his daughter, and in their spare time can be found traveling the world hiking to the mountain tops, camping, fishing, biking, and working on their rental business.

Tony is the Payroll & Benefits Officer for Oak located at the Algoma Site.
Tony has worked as the Payroll & Benefits Supervisor at the City of Thunder Bay for 30 years.
Jesse was born and raised in Thunder Bay and has spent most of his life here. He graduated from Confederation College and has worked the last 19 years in the Human Resources field in several different sectors (Forestry, Manufacturing and Healthcare). Jesse is heavily involved in youth hockey in the city and enjoys playing hockey & golf, camping and spending time with his family.

Bryan graduated from Dalhousie University in 2013, then returned to his hometown of Thunder Bay where he founded Oak Medical Arts. Over the last 7 years, Bryan and his team have grown Oak to six clinic and pharmacy locations across Thunder Bay. He obtained his MBA from Lakehead University, has been a speaker at many pharmacy conferences across Canada, and serves on the OPA board. He recently also opened Carte Blanche Cafe, and in his spare time enjoys playing sports and spending time at camp!

Ireland started her marketing career in 2016 while residing in Saskatoon Saskatchewan.
Ireland will be attending the Bachelor of Commerce program at the University of Saskatchewan to obtain her bachelor's degree in Marketing starting fall 2021. Ireland plans to open up her own marketing firm and help local businesses across Canada with all of their marketing, ecommerce, and graphic design needs.
Ireland has a strong love for local businesses and community means everything to her and her! Ireland enjoys photography, being outdoors, and hanging with friends, family, and furry friends.
Jen McIntosh (HBC, CPA, CA) is a professional with a decade of accounting and tax compliance and advisory experience. She holds her Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Lakehead University and earned her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) designation in 2014. Jen believes there is always more to learn and challenges herself to keep at it – whether she’s researching certain implications of the Canadian tax system or investigating new industries and technologies that might interest or provide value to her clients.
